Visit Mostyn Highland Fold for a private Highland Cow Experience near Toowoomba. Meet, brush, feed and spend time with our quiet Highland cattle in a real working Fold, with professional photography add-ons for families, couples, maternity sessions and special occasions.
Mostyn Highland Fold is located just outside of Toowoomba. We are excited to have partnered with Tara from Gypsy and Grace Photography so that your Highland experience is even more unforgettable. Now, as you interact with our gentle, majestic cattle, you can also enjoy beautifully crafted memories.
Our photographers specialise in capturing the authentic connection between our guests and the Highland cattle. Every photograph will tell your unique story and our professional photography services ensure that your experience is documented with creativity and care.

Experience - without photography
Experience: $250 (up to 2 people) $50 per additional person (maximum 6 people, unless by prior arrangement).
Spend time getting to know some coos. You will brush, feed and learn all about our beautiful Highland cattle in a picturesque rural setting.
Duration: 1 1/2 hours

Add a Mini Photoshoot with the Highland Cows
Additional Cost: $300
The addition of a 15 minute professional photography session during your Experience: includes 10 professional images.
Session can be tailored for maternity, couples, family and other occasions. Enquire about options for larger groups.
Add an Afternoon Photoshoot with the Highland Cows
Additional Cost: $400
The addition of a 30 minute professional photography session during the Experience: includes 15 - 20 images.
Add a Sunset Photoshoot with the Highland cows
Additional Cost: $450
The addition of a one hour professional photography session during our Experience Timing of the Experience will be adjusted to allow for sunset photography according to the season: includes 30 images.

Yes - all visits to Mostyn Highland Fold are private bookings. You will not be grouped with other visitors during your experience, allowing for a quiet and more personal visit with the Highland Cattle.
As we are a working Fold, occasionally there may be handlers working with cattle elsewhere on the property, however, guest experiences themselves are not shared with other groups.

During your visit you will spend time meeting, feeding and brushing some of our most gentle Highland cattle in a relaxed farm setting.
You will also meet the rest of the Fold and learn about their history and individual personalities.
Each experience is guided with the welfare of both guests and cattle in mind.

Yes, children are certainly welcome to meet the Highland cows.
Where children are part of your group, the visit will be guided to suit their ages and confidence around cattle.
Depending on the children attending, some interactions may take place over the fence rather than within the paddock.
Children must remain supervised by a responsible adult during the visit.

We recommend enclosed shoes and comfortable clothing suitable for a farm visit.
During cooler months on the Darling Downs warm layers are recommended.
As Mostyn Highland Fold is a working farm, conditions underfoot may vary depending on recent weather.

Mostyn Highland Fold is located near Toowoomba, on the Darling Downs in South-East Queensland.

Experiences will generally go ahead in light rain. In cases of severe weather or thunderstorms, we may contact guests to reschedule their Experience.

Most visits run for approximately 1.5 hours, although Experiences may occasionally finish a little earlier or later depending on the day.
